I also like how it takes place in the 80s, which is when the Transformers were popular, so there was a definite nostalgia vibe throughout the film (for me, anyway).
I boycotted this film when it released because I was tired of Michael Bay ruining the franchise with his awful films. But I'm glad I eventually saw this one. I hope they retcon the series starting with this film and then do them right!
